WIREMATION PRODUCTS
BALANCED WEAVE
Balanced Weave Belting is produced with alternating right and left hand spirals joined by crimped connector rods. It is the most commonly used wire mesh belt due to its range of opening sizes. Balanced Weave Belts are used for heavy duty applications or produced with light wire to convey small parts. This design offers straight tracking and long belt life. Typically produced with round wire, the use of flattened wire provides a flat carrying surface.
CHEVRON WEAVE
Chevron Weave is also known as Compound Balanced Weave. By nesting right and left hand spirals, the Chevron Weave belt offers the tightest design of any woven wire belt. This design has a smooth carrying surface, useful in providing support for products to prevent marking of the material being conveyed.
PIN ROLL BELTS
By incorporating a Balanced Weave Belt with a corresponding pin roll, positive tracking can be achieved. This belt is used in the food industry where a tight transfer or exact timing is needed. The pinroll eliminates belt slippage when the product or process creates slippery conditions. The teeth of the pin roll meshes into the openings of the belt to create a positive drive.
SIDE CHAIN DRIVEN BELTS
Posiweave Chain Driven Belts offer straight travel and positive speed control. Most belt weaves can be side chain driven. Typically Balanced Weave and more open mesh belts are connected to the chain by rods passing through the mesh to act as the chain pins. Tighter weave belts can be chain driven using bars or channel welded to the mesh with attachment chain bolted to the support.
DOUBLE BALANCED
Double Balanced Weave belting is similar to Balanced Weave construction, however, it incorporates pairs of right and left hand spirals joined at crimped or straight rods. This construction offers straight tracking and greater strength than a Balanced Weave belt. A variety of opening sizes and belt strengths are available.
FLAT WIRE
Flat Wire Belting is available in mesh sizes 1/2" X 1/2",
1/2" x 1", and 1" X 1". It can be manufactured in galvanized, high carbon, or stainless steel. Flat Wire offers an open construction for quick drainage and air circulation. This design allows for easy cleaning and provides a smooth carrying surface.
